TITON SHIP

By Renee aged 14

And as the gallant titon ship
Makes the water break
Steam pours from its sky scraper funnels
As the tiny little tugboat
Gives its last big push

Goodbye, Goodbye!
Everyone shouts
For we'll never see you again

While unknown to the ship
A fighter plane appears
Gracefully swooping down from the sky
Bombing the ship, shattering lives

You can hear the ear splitting screams miles away
Never to be heard again
Then lights appear on the oceans rim
Calls can be called to ear

Is anyone out there?
Is anyone alive?
But as no answer could be heard
They sailed away

But unknown to them
One person survived
Hearing the call
Not answering

But seeing the name of the ship
And went swimming ashore
He lived to be the oldest man
But never saw that ship again

Heard of it neither
Though he searched the whole wide world
It was not on record
No person had seen or heard of it either

So if you see a ship

Named

ALEXANDRA GREY

The ship that came and went again
When no-one replied its call
Think yourself lucky
You didn't get on board

For that was a ghostship, that was
That comes and goes from the knowledge of the world.
