You are gone.

By Robin

You are gone,
but we were always quarelling.
My mind attempts to possess you still
with the memory of your anger
like the sails of a windmill,
turning, turning
but I look into my heart
and you are gone.

You always were like a drowning girl,
your life spinning
like fragments of movies
running before your eyes.
Look, look quickly, there we are!
There is my pain and there your anger
like the black sails of a windmill,
look! But you are gone
I look into my heart and you are gone.
