Understanding Attention Deficit Disorder by Dr Christopher Green and Dr K Chee

Easy to read with cartoon style pictures this puts ADD simply into perspective. Its history, courses, behaviours, diagnosis and treatment options are written in easy to understand language with notes at the end of each section giving a simple review.

Help hints for treating ADD kids in the home and at school along with medication, natural and behaviour therapies are all explained.

This book has a small chapter on ODD and CD as well as a chapter on adult ADD.

The final section gives diagnostic criteria's and self-assessment charts along with descriptions of medication, alternative therapies and basic guides to understanding some of the various tests our children go through whilst being diagnosed.

Put simply, all you need to know to get the basic facts on ADD/ADHD.
