Voices Unheard: Young People at the Beginning of the 21st Century
by Roger Frost

A great book to help those working with young people to understand more about why a lot of young people feel that they are so often ignored or only "paid lip service to" by those in authority around them. How they feel this way when decisions are being made about them which will ultimately affect the rest of their lives.

The report in this book gives views from prominent people who are in charge of policy and also the views of young people.

This book marks the launch of the "Carnegie Young People's Initiative", a new programme which has been designed to set standards in both the voluntary and public services to increase the involvement of young people in all decision-making.

Ideal for those who work with children and jam people to encourage them to listen more and to realise that young people deserve to be properly listened to.
