He is a father of an ADD child so he talks and draws very much on his own experiences, making all of his writings believable and at times humorous.
All About ADD tells in straightforward language basic symptoms, the effects ADD has on all aspects of the child's life, home, school and social and the many treatment options needed to treat a complex condition. Dr Phelan writes form personal experience and demonstrates his warmth and affection for the families affected and offers practical advice on how to cope with the problems they face.
This tape by Dr Phelan is easy to listen to and in parts humorous, excellent choice for the whole spectrum of raising a child with ADD.
